 Twice a year for almost the past 10 years, members of the Bethlehem Democratic Committee have dedicated a few weekend hours to something even more gross than asking people for donations: picking up trash.
It's all part of the BDC's commitment to community service and, in this case, keeping our streets clean. The 3-mile stretch of New York State Route 32 between Elsmere Avenue and U.S. Route 9W is kept clean as part of a sponsorship program known as "Adopt-A-Highway." |
